Fenix Lr50r Led Flashlight 12000lm, Power 950m Usb-c Lights Searchlights IPX 8

Fenix LR50R is a professional flashlight for exploration and search, which emits a light beam of 12,000 lumens with a range of 950 m!

Construction

Fenix LR50R is the newest long-range searchlight that combines impressive light parameters and great functionality in a device with a relatively small weight and dimensions.

The body with a length of 163 mm is made of aviation aluminum finished in the HAIII anodizing process, creating a durable protective coating with high resistance to scratching and abrasion.

The transverse grooving of the head acts as a heat sink, whose task is to dissipate excess heat generated by a set of 4 powerful LED emitters. The massive head is finished with an elevated steel ring that allows for vertical positioning of the flashlight without the risk of damaging the optical system. Milling the body improves the grip and grip of the flashlight and gives it a modern style. Thanks to the flat base, the flashlight can be placed vertically (“candle” function) and efficiently illuminate the interior of the explored object or cave. The rear part has a hook for attaching a lanyard or a security cable. The flashlight has an additional metal hook for a carrying belt, which, when unscrewed, reveals a threaded socket compatible with standard photo tripod connectors.

The dark will not hide

Impressive light parameters were achieved thanks to the use of 4 Cree SST70 LEDs and smooth reflectors that reflect the light with a beam of up to 12,000 lumens at a distance of up to 950 m. This distance corresponds to the length of 8 full-size football fields. The toughened glass with 98% transmittance has been covered with an anti-reflective coating, thus reducing light loss to a minimum. The powerful 75 ° wide stream can be used in search and rescue, exploration and extreme tourism, and facility monitoring.

Main modes:

  • Turbo 11,000 lumens,
  • high II 6000 lumens,
  • high and 3000 lumens,
  • medium 1000 lumens,
  • low 350 lumens,
  • eco 50 lumens.

Additional modes :

  • turbo 11,000 lumens,
  • 6000 lumens strobe,
  • SOS 350 lumens.

Intelligent proximity sensor

The flashlight uses an intelligent sensor that automatically recognizes when the head is too close to the ground. After exceeding the distance of 60 mm from the ground and illuminating it for 1.5 seconds, the flashlight automatically lowers the brightness level (to eco mode).

Comfort of use

The flashlight is distinguished by a very simple and user-friendly interface, divided into main and additional modes. Separate steel buttons with high responsiveness and resistance to mechanical damage are used to activate and change the light modes.

The location of the switches on the side of the flashlight (under the thumb) makes the use and changing the parameters of the light very intuitive and convenient.

The Fenix LR50R also has a lock function to protect against uncontrolled switching on of the light during transport. To do this, press and hold the switches simultaneously for 3 seconds. The same steps are required to disable the lock.

A great convenience is the LED indicator informing about the battery charge status, activated by a single click of any switch (flashlight off).

Indicator Markings:

  • 4 lit LEDs: 100-80%
  • 3 lit LEDs: 80-60%
  • 2 LEDs on: 60-40%
  • 1 lit LED: 40-20%
  • 1 flashing LED: 20-0

Power

Fenix LR50R is powered by a powerful 12,000 mAh battery pack, on which the flashlight can work for up to 4 days in ecco mode (50 lumens) or 45 minutes in turbo mode (11,000 lumens).

Thanks to the USB-C port and support for fast charging protocols PD3.0 / PD2, QC3.0 and QC2.0, we can use a battery with such a large capacity in just a few hours.

A capacious battery and USB-C port allow the flashlight to act as a power bank, thanks to which we can recharge the phone or PMR radio in a crisis situation. The sockets are protected against moisture, rain and dust with airtight rubber plugs.

Additional Features:

For the sake of safety and proper functioning, the Fenix LR50R has overheating protection, reverse polarity protection and a low battery warning .

The flashlight has a high degree of protection IP68, which means that it is completely resistant to dust, small solids, full immersion in water (for 30 minutes to a depth of 2 m) and a fall from 1 meter.

All the light and durability parameters of the flashlight comply with the ANSI / PLATO FL1 standards .

The presented parameters were obtained in laboratory conditions. During the tests, the Fenix ARB-L37-12000 battery was used.
